Project Solutions

A defined outcome, delivered from scope to handover

One team of ours takes on what you need built, migrated or assessed. We agree scope and sign-off criteria first, deliver in stages you can review, then hand everything over.

Who it’s for

For outcomes you can define up front

  • A clear goal

You know what needs to exist at the end, even if some details are still open.

  • A budget tied to scope

You need the scope, plan and costs agreed before the work begins.

  • One team accountable

You want a single team answerable for the result, with no suppliers to coordinate.

How it works

How a project runs, from scope to handover

  1. Step 1: Discovery

We pin down the goals, scope, risks and the criteria for sign-off.

  2. Step 2: Proposal and plan

A written proposal sets out the milestones, the team and the commercial terms.

  3. Step 3: Delivery in stages

Each milestone ends with a demo, and scope changes are approved before work on them starts.

  4. Step 4: Handover

Code, documentation and runbooks pass to your team, or into managed support.

What you get

A plan, working software and a clean handover

What you receive over the course of a project, not only at the end.

  • A written scope with sign-off criteria for each milestone
  • A delivery plan with milestones, team and responsibilities
  • Demos of working software at each milestone
  • Progress, risk and spend reports on an agreed schedule
  • Source code, documentation and runbooks handed over to you
  • A handover session, or a move into managed support

How we keep it working

How we keep a project on course

Projects drift when the scope is vague, progress is hard to see or testing waits until the end. Each habit below tackles one of those.

  • Discovery before commitment

The plan rests on what we learn about your systems, users and constraints in discovery, rather than on early assumptions.

  • Progress you can see

Milestone demos and regular written updates show where the project stands, and risks are raised as soon as we spot them.

  • Tested at every stage

Automated tests and peer review run on every change, and releases are rehearsed with a way back, so problems surface before handover.

Fit

Is Project Solutions the right fit?

A good fit when

  • The outcome and main requirements can be written down
  • You want costs agreed per phase before work starts
  • You want one team accountable for delivery

FAQ

Questions about project delivery

Ask a question

What happens if the scope changes during the project?

Change is normal. We estimate the effect of each change on cost, timeline and risk, and nothing proceeds until you approve it in writing.

How is a project priced?

Usually per phase or milestone: a fixed fee against the agreed scope, or time and materials while the scope is still forming. Discovery can be contracted on its own, so you can decide on the build with a plan in hand.

What happens when the project ends?

We hand over the code, documentation and runbooks and walk your team through them. If you prefer, the system can move into managed support with us instead.

Next step

What outcome do you need delivered?

Describe the goal, the systems involved and any deadline. We’ll come back with questions and a suggested first phase.

First step
A conversation about the problem, your systems and constraints
You leave with
A view on whether we can help, and a sensible first step
Before any work
A written proposal covering scope, team, approach and terms
Commitment
None until you approve that proposal
