Team Solutions

A managed team that owns a workstream for you

We form a team around your workstream, led by one of our delivery leads. The team runs the work day to day, and your product owner sets the priorities.

Four colleagues plan together at a wall of sticky notes in a bright office, one of them holding an open notebook.

Who it’s for

For work that needs a whole team

  • Long-running workstreams

A product area, platform or backlog that needs steady progress over months.

  • Busy managers

Your leaders want to set direction without running another team day to day.

  • Something new to build

A new product or capability that needs a team formed around it.

How it works

How a team takes on your workstream

  1. Step 1: Scope the workstream

We agree the goals, the starting backlog and who decides what.

  2. Step 2: Shape the team

We propose the roles and people, and you meet them before the team starts.

  3. Step 3: Deliver in short cycles

The team plans, builds and demos working software at every review.

  4. Step 4: Report and adapt

Our delivery lead reports progress, risks and spend, and the team changes shape as the work does.

What you get

A team, a lead and a clear view of progress

What a managed team brings with it, from the first planning session onward.

  • A cross-functional team sized to the workstream
  • A named delivery lead who runs the team day to day
  • Demos of working, tested software at every review
  • Written updates on progress, risks and spend
  • Documentation and decisions kept in your own systems
  • A planned handover if the work moves back to your team

How we keep it working

How we keep the team working well

A team that owns a workstream needs the right mix of people, one clear line of communication and quality habits that don’t depend on any one person.

  • A team built for the work

We choose the mix of roles from your backlog and stack, introduce the people before they start and use the first weeks for access, context and an early release.

  • One accountable lead

Our delivery lead is your day-to-day contact, plans with your product owner and raises risks while they are still small.

  • Quality as routine

Automated tests, peer review and a shared definition of done apply to every change, and pairing means no single person holds the context.

Fit

Is Team Solutions the right fit?

A good fit when

  • The work is ongoing and the backlog keeps changing
  • You want to set priorities without managing the team
  • Continuity matters more than a fixed end date

Consider something else when

FAQ

Questions about working with a managed team

Ask a question

Who decides what the team works on?

You do. Your product owner sets priorities and accepts the work, and our delivery lead turns those priorities into plans and runs the team day to day. At kickoff we agree who decides what, so ownership is never in doubt.

Can the team grow or shrink over time?

Yes. We review the team’s size and skills with you as the roadmap changes, and changes take effect with the notice set out in your agreement. Anyone who leaves the team hands over their work first.

How is a managed team priced?

Usually as a monthly fee based on the roles and seniority in the team, reviewed as the work changes. The full commercial terms are in the proposal, before you commit to anything.

Next step

Which workstream would a team take on first?

Tell us about the product area or backlog and how your team works today. We’ll suggest a team shape and a sensible way to start.
